The Lightning Bolt is lovely. Like another reviewer, I've been listening to Mr. Bowie for 50 years. One day, back when I was 16, my mom said, "Oh, look at this fellow with the red-pink hair." I was smitten. Mr. Bowie's lyrics, music, appearance (1973-1976 especially) kept me from going under the wheels of a subway train many times. Yes, his effect was that strong and helpful. My favorite album for content is "Diamond Dogs" (1974) and my favorite album for "sound" is "David Live at the Tower" (1974). Saw him live twice - Isolar Tour supporting "Station to Station" (1976) and when he played keyboards for Iggy Pop's tour (1977). In admiring Mr. Bowie, I think we should also salute all of the very talented musicians with whom he worked - especially the late Mick Ronson. I gave my Lightning Bolt 4 stars only because I wish it more closely represented the lightning bolt on the Aladdin Sane cover - with the thin blue and black stripes. Nevertheless, it's very nice and I'm very happy and lucky to have it. Best wishes to all.
