i chose to purchase this set of songs because many of my favorite tracks were performed live at this concert. I don't think Bowie ever did Andy Warhol during his days as Ziggy. So having a live rendition was nice. Look back in Anger another song that appeared on the Lodger Lp was a standout track.I do miss Dennis Davis's drumming from the original.Otherwise glad to hear it live. The Man Who sold the World is here too. A nice rendition of Nite Flights is very soulful and a welcome edition to this set. further accolades go to Gail Ann Dorsey for her vocals and bass work. The set finishes with Teenage Wildlife . I am glad Bowie dropped his personas and became David Bowie-Singer/Songwriter. He has a large catalog to pick from, and he chose to do songs from all over his career. These odds and ends make his live records unique.

Outside is my favorite Bowie album of all time, does that make me weird? So this CD is of course awesome. Bowie's voice is fabulous as usual. I love how he reinvents the songs on stage - Andy Warhol Man Who Sold the World. Reeves Gabrel totally rocks out The Voyeur of Utter Destruction. Love Gail Ann Dorsey's voice on Nite Flights and off course the iconic bass line on Under Pressure as well as those vocals!!! I can't wait for volume 2. MaryJane

A great artifact from an often overlooked era that will no doubt come to be regarded as one of Bowie's most fruitful and forward thinking endeavors.

There are things that are great about almost every era of David's career. While I was never able to completely wrap my head around Outside.1, there was certainly some very interesting songs on there. To hear how well he and this fantastic band were able to pull off these songs live is amazing. Look Back In Anger sounded so cool with the 1990's vibe to it. Looking forward to the upcoming releases, especially since Earthling blew my head off!!
