There have been SO many bootlegs of David Bowie lately. That's both a good and bad thing. But sometimes it's tough to tell which are any good, annd which I should pass on. Believe me, some ARE good. But it's tough to tell from just the cover art. Because of "Rock n Roll Star"'s metallic cover, it was tough to read the small font on the back cover to see if this was on a "real" record label, that is, one I've heard of. Not only that, if I were head of Bowie's art department, I would've passed on this one. That's just my opinion. But I'm glad I pick this one up! It's from my favorite era of David Bowie, and anyone who doesn't like "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggg Stardust" should stop reading this review. Right. Now. This LP contains outtakes from that session and from the period shortly after that session that are amazing. To me, this record should've been a double album, with a gatefold sleeve, and should have included a 16 page insert! If you haven't picked it up yet, get yours now before they decide to take it out of print. I'm serious. Who ever is in charge of these Bowie Records releases, I beg you, please release "Rock n Roll Star Vol. 2"! A+, 100%, 10 out of 10, I'd rate it a "10", but it's actually an "11!"
