Issued for the album’s 50th anniversary, this half-speed mastered LP presents Diamond Dogs in a premium vinyl format built for collectors and serious listeners.
Cut by John Webber at AIR Studios, this edition was mastered on a customized late Neumann VMS80 lathe using 192kHz restored masters from the original master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer.
Featuring “Rebel Rebel,” “1984,” “Diamond Dogs,” and the suite “Sweet Thing / Candidate / Sweet Thing (Reprise),” the album stands as a key turning point in Bowie’s catalog — part glam apocalypse, part future shock.

This is the first album I remember buying with my "own" money. I was 4 or 5. I liked the picture. The music blew me away and gave me comfort. This doesn't sound better than the first time I heard it that's stuck in my memory. But, as an adult I apprecitate the details to the sound. Still one of the best albums ever created.

Love the album. It's sounds amazing. Diamond Dogs is one of my favorite Bowie albums!
