Until such time that the Bowie estate releases a 3xCD of “Night Two at The Chili Pepper,” this CD will hold a special place in my heart as at least an approximation of that utter and complete Bowie feast. The five piece band were necessarily built on a foundation of samples and loops to put across the Drum + Bass leanings of the “Earthling” material; but the level of musicianship that players like Garson, Dorsey, and Gabrels brought to the live playing ensured plenty of thrills. And, oh yeah…Mr. Bowie himself was killing it!

I've been listening to David Bowie music since the 70s and I did see him in concert, but even so, I can't get over how good these new live sets are. This would be the one to get if one was wondering where to start. It's a 2CD set, so there's more music, and it includes some surprising takes on old classics as well as a totally unexpected cover version, not to mention some great selections from David's works of the 90s. The band is tight and the sound quality excellent. This is well worth adding to any Bowie collection!

A very nice show. Snd quality is good. I enjoyed this setlist not as dynamic as glastonbury but certainty worth purchasing. Hoping to see more bluray video releases in the future, but this is at least a 2 disc show.
