Great even before he was "David Bowie."

I'll admit, I like early David Bowie, even the '67 Deram collection, but I was shocked by how good this Shel Talmy Recordings album is. Bowie's chord changes still make my head spin, and his voice on these songs is something to behold. He'd have given Tom Jones a run for his money as a blue-eyed soul man, and he was still in his teens.

It's on red vinyl, not too much money, and it's really good. Just buy it.

Great, love it. Hearing a young Bowie is just amazing.
